2011 SSC Ultimate Aero II

StoneBridge & K-Syran - Starry Night

Our friends at Jalopnik have managed to get their hands on the first images of the SSC Ultimate Aero II. Leaked from a photo shoot for Top Gear magazine.

Designed to reclaim the title as the world’s fast production vehicle, the UAII features a stunning exterior pinned by Jason Castriota. If the name doesn’t ring a bell, he’s the man behind the Ferrari 599, Maserati GranTurismo, and Bertone Mantide – just to name a few.

As you may recall, the first generation Aero become the world’s fastest car when it hit 412 km/h (256.14 mph) in 2007. Three years later, Bugatti retook the record by going 431.072 km/h (268 mph) in the Veyron Super Sport.

More information will be released on September 8th, so stay tuned for details.
