Join the ultimate visit to the home of Bugatti, from a test drive in the Bugatti Chiron, to experiencing the customer journey to build the specification for the car. Along the way we can explore the Atelier where the cars are assembled and also get an insight into the history of the hypercar manufacturer.
Bugatti are based in Molsheim, France, at the Chateau St Jean where they were based back in the mid-1920s. Surrounding the main building, you have all aspects of the company from offices and customer reception rooms to the assembly plant and logistics centre. After first joining Andy Wallace for a test drive in the full carbon fibre Chiron we can then explore the venue in full.
To kick off the drive, Andy takes the wheel to introduce the 420km/h capable hypercar with 1,500PS and 1,600nm before ultimately swapping over to allow me to experience a small fraction of what it is capable of. Upon return we then venture into the stables to see the room at which a customer would be greeted by a designer to build their own perfect specification.
The next stop is an exclusive look inside the Atelier to discover the processes involved for the cars during the 8 weeks in which they are assembled before heading to its customer around the world. From the brand new, back to the past, a quick look in Remise Nord gives us an insight into where the company came from and its routes, including some very special cars including the T35, Royale, Veyron 16.4 concept and Veyron Vitesse WRC.
I could not have imagined a more dream day out than this full experience with Bugatti, and for that I thank them very, very much!
Thanks for watching, Tim
