Teaser of the new SUV concept called T-Cross has been released by Volkswagen. The car will be unveiled at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. This new SUV will be an entry level model in Volkswagen’s SUV lineup and will be based on the much popular Volkswagen Polo.

In the Volkswagen lineup the T-Cross will sit alongside the much bigger Golf based T-Roc SUV, production version of which will be unveiled later this year. The T-Cross will use Volkswagen’s most latest and lightweight MQB platform and will come with a host of engine options – petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrids etc. The car will also be offered with both front-wheel drive as well as four-wheel drive options.

As per the teaser image, it seems the T-Cross will have LED headlights along with square shaped LED daytime running lights all around the fog lights. Body cladding and a skid plate can also be made out from the teaser image.
