1600HP Hennessey Venom F5

This is the all-new Hennessey Venom F5, which is the replacement for the Venom GT that was first introduced way back in 2011. Like its predecessor, the new car has only one goal on its mind – to secure the title of world’s fastest production car.

To do so, it will need to overcome models like the Koenigsegg Agera RS and the well-known Bugatti Chiron. Therefore, the Venom F5’s data sheet has plenty of big numbers to ensure it is “the absolute fastest road car on earth,” as the company points out.

Let’s start with the most important bit – the engine, which is a 7.4 litre twin-turbo V8 that makes 1,600 hp and 1,762 Nm of torque. That is more than what the Chiron can muster up (1,479 hp and 1,600 Nm), and all of it is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed single clutch automatic transmission.

According to Hennessey Performance (HPE), the Venom F5’s top speed is 484 km/h (301 mph), which destroys the Chiron’s current limit of 420 km/h. We say limit because the Chiron has electronic nannies that hold it back, and Bugatti will only attempt an unrestricted top speed run in 2018, so place your bets earl
If the top speed doesn’t surprise you, maybe these other figures will. For starters, the car will accelerate from a rest to 299 km/h (186 mph) in just under ten seconds, while a sprint from zero to 400 km/h (249 mph) and back to zero will be under 30 seconds. The latter decimates the Agera RS’ time of 36.44 seconds, in case you’re wondering.

At this point, it is probably good to mention the Venom F5’s name is a reference to the F5 tornado, the fastest according to the Fujita scale, reaching speeds as high as 483 km/h (300 mph).

Unlike the Venom GT, which is based on the Lotus Exige, the Venom F5 features a bespoke chassis and carbon-fibre body. The sleek shape you see before you is all in the name of aerodynamics, and together with the active aero package, will yield a drag coefficient of 0.33. Altogether, the Venom F5 has curb weight of just 1,338 kg.

As for the styling, the Venom F5 is certainly quite striking to look at, more so from the back.
Impressed? Well, if you want one, the plans to build just 24 examples of the Venom F5, and each will come with a base price of US$1.6 million (RM6,773,600).

1360HP Koenigsegg Agera RS

The new Agera RS pushes the boundaries and takes the Agera to all new levels of performance.

The new Koenigsegg Agera RS has its focus set firmly on the track but is still perfect for regular use on the road. It uses advanced technology developed during our exclusive Koenigsegg One:1 program, while maintaining all the functionality of previous S and R models. Such practicalities include a usable luggage compartment and a detachable hardtop that can be stowed internally for top-down motoring at any time.

Agera RS enhancements include: advanced lightweight sound insulation, an all-new front splitter optimized for the track, front winglets, side skirts, advanced dynamic underbody flap system and a dynamically active rear spoiler for added down force (now up to 450 kg at 250 km/h). The RS also features improved side air outlets behind the front wheels, increased power and a raised rpm limit.

On top of the standard equipment, the Agera RS also offers the option to choose the Koenigsegg active and self-levelling chassis package, 3G connected Pre-Active chassis setups, alternative aero packages, active sound cancellation and much more.
The engine – as with the previous Agera S – has been optimized for regular pump gas and now puts out an incredible 1160 bhp on regular petrol. That’s an astonishing 232 bhp per liter with perfect reliability.

In certain markets, the Agera RS can also be configured to run on E85 for even higher power levels, while the engine management system offers the ability to adjust on-the-fly to any fuel mix at any given time.

The RS will be handcrafted in only 25 examples, with 10 pre-sold prior to the first showing.
