The Vanquish S is packed with a more powerful engine of 5.9 Litre V2 with 580 Horse Power capacity which is actually 20 Horse Power lesser than their twin-turbocharged V-12 in the DB11 model though Aston claims an output of 595 Horse Power in its European spec. The swanky model with the light weight of 3,834 pounds can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds instead of 3.4 in the previous model Vanquish Zagato, and the top speed has remained unchanged at 201 mph. The torque produced by the engine is 465 lb ft at 5500 rpm and is 51 lb ft lesser than the DB11 model. It is also equipped with an eight-speed Touchtronic 3 automatic transmission to refine shift quality. It is expected that this posh car will make its debut in the market in 2018 with dealership may begin in 2017. The price of the car would be around $300,000 to start with. It’s interesting to see how the Aston’s new model competes in the market in future.
