We dirt-heads like 4-wheeling, but we also like modifying out 4×4’s. On this episode of Dirt Every Day, Fred Williams shows you how to add a 4-inch lift kit and 35-inch tires on a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited in this beginner tech episode.

Dirt Every Day appears every other Thursday on the Motor Trend channel. http://www.youtube.com/motortrend

@12:18 good 'nuff for Nascar, good 'nuff for me. Impact all the way, for everything! Haha in all seriousness though, take heed of the words that this wise man is speaking. It's from experience, he didn't just read some BS off of the internet or out of a magazine, this is real, valid information.

Love it. Gotta say, I was looking forward to you installing one of those affordable coil spacer kits and hearing your thoughts on it, about to do it to my truck as I can't afford a + $1,400 lift kit.

Thanks for this tutorial. It's interesting: not only does this info show me that this is not actually something I want to attempt myself – but also that I need to be wary of mechanics and shops, that they be as diligent and experienced as Fred here, with so many different minute details to pay attention to, and potentially install incorrectly. I mean, measuring with a tape measurer to avoid inconsistencies in axle symmetry? Safe to say these lift kits are hardly just plug and play… Thanks for the video though!
