Honda tell us that it’s the world’s first sporty hybrid coupe with an electric motor assisting its 1.5 litre petrol engine. And with claims of 56 miles per gallon and exemption from the London congestion charge, it sounds pretty tempting. In this video, Graham from the Office heads to the Netherlands to be one of the first to drive the new CR-Z. For more videos, news and reviews go to http://fwd.five.tv/fifth-gear

brian reilly says:

47 euro i get 500 klm.s. not good

Blaze 125 says:

"First Hybrid to come with a manual gearbox" …ummm no..sorry.. My 2002 Honda insight G1 coupe has a manual… xD and it does 85mpg if im careful. …

Still want one of these though xD

Andrew Twinam says:

Mine revs to 7 1/4 rpm so i dont know what you are talking about

Karl Mc says:

Looking to move away from high performance, high cost, high pollution motoring, this thing has caught my eye.

Umaxen 00 says:

A diesel CR-Z burning 3 liter per 100 km (94 mpg) with the Honda diesel engine and the fantastic 6 speed manual transmission would have moved out of the showroom like free lemonade on a hot summer day. There are dozens of cheaper, utility cars in Europe that consume around 3.6 liters.(78 mpg) This could have been a fantastic, premium, diesel car. On a bad day, with the a/c on the whole way, you could have driven from Warsaw or Budapest to some crappy place like Paris on 35 liters of fuel…

Starfox950 says:

i'm learning to drive and i'm gonna buy my car soon , so a can't have more than 115hp (because of my insurance)
should i buy this or a bmw 116 ?(sorry for my bad eng, i'm fr)

Matthew Wells says:

I have one, the only thing Econ mode is good for is traffic jams when it's not very hot outside as it will shut off the engine when stoped with also stops the A/C.

Umaxen 00 says:

What the Hell? CR-Z is a 1.5 Hybrid and gets 36 city and 39 freeway. The Accord is a 2 liter Hybrid that weighs at least 1000 pounds more and is a behemoth compared to the CR-Z and is rated at 49 city and 47 freeway, has a decent 0-60 and a top speed of 130. It really looks like a common sense fix. OR simply give it the 2 liter engine from the Accord Hybrid, leave the Hybrid OUT!

Marco Arellano says:

I want one of these. But depreciation and just the low power kills me. If it was easy to mod too

KungFuChess says:

They should go all electric with this car, make it a mini Tesla

Gerasimos Rico says:

What a shit little car

j parks says:

look up the video about the supercharger addon for CR-Z. The guy has a blast driving it. Too bad 2016 is the last year for this car.

farinheit2celsius says:

Did he really say 'Coup-ay'…

Wheelnut78 says:

Nice idea and I like the looks, it just needed 50 more horsepower.

Bose de-Nage says:

Well done you have reviewed a car and managed not to mention how many seats it has let alone if it is comfortable!

Mila Martens says:

hey, what's upc outstanding performance. kittens caring %

Martin Reiter says:

You're Njat! C'mon, gu{s. pastoral shape $

Martin Smith says:

The CR-Z is the worst of all worlds. It's the exact opposite of a sleeper.

Stephen She says:

it is interesting to hear how a Volkswagen TDI was described as "environmentally aware" after the VW diesel crap is exposed to the world

jimmy jones says:

No this is a prius… Now… That being said… I do not like hybrids… However BMW has managed to make me question myself…. That BMW I8 is fucking incredible. I am not saying i want one. However i will admit, BMW made a hybrid that can kick some american muscle car ass… But this…. This aint no BMW I8

Michael Redline says:

I love mine… 54 mpg without anything to help that

Miguel Garcia says:

This car needs a more powerful electric motor

DelilahThePig says:

This shares similar cabin dimensions with the 1st gen Insight, but jumping to 4 cylinders kind of screws the fuel economy. I could drive an Accord or Civic with more comfort and a moonroof that opens in the US with nearly the same mpg. Plus, the treehugger dashboard games really bug me.

Tom Beecroft says:

I've got a CRZ, it's fantastic

GT6SuzukaTimeTrials says:

It really is a modern first-gen 1.5L CR-X. If you don't like that car, then you won't like this one.

Issa issaa says:

Lost my faith in honda after buying a 2009 hybrid civic.

umaxen01 says:

On the other hand, Honda should simply use the Accord 190 hp, 2.4 liter, 4 cylinder with a 6 speed manual. THAT would be a fantastic car with 150 mph potential.

Zhuoli Zhang says:

It only has two seats 🙁

Ron Mexico says:

What the fuck is a CR Zed…speak English mother fucker.
