The 2019 QX50’s aerodynamic exterior reinterprets Infiniti’s distinctive Powerful Elegance design language and signature design cues for the crossover segment. It combines a confident stance with intelligent packaging, while deep character lines highlight the influence of human artistry in the design process.

The 2019 Infiniti QX50 is built on an all-new platform, featuring a front-engine, front-wheel-drive-based layout. Engineered with flexibility of application in mind, this platform sets new standards for refinement, rigidity and interior space in the compact premium crossover segment.

The VC-Turbo engine is the world’s first production-ready variable compression ratio engine, transforming on demand. A breakthrough in combustion engine design, the 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine adjusts its compression ratio to optimize power and efficiency. It combines the power of a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with the torque and efficiency of a four-cylinder diesel engine. A compelling alternative to diesel, it challenges the notion that only hybrid and diesel powertrains can deliver high torque and efficiency.

Ral Hellcat says:

Like the look. HATE the engine. They should have kept the 3.7 liter V6. At least as an option. I will never own another 4 cyl again. Thus I will never own the 2019 QX50. From a previous FX35 and EX35 owner. And current FX50S owner.

Deem M says:

Impressive fit and finish for the interior, looks really upscale and refined. However, infiniti suffers from lack of reliability and built quality.

Peugeot 3008 is the ultimate killer

Cars with two touch screens need to stop. That’s unnecessary. One is just fine.

Tha Lexus Specialist says:

Lexus NX takes the win

Google User says:

You wouldn’t need any of these combustion engine innovations if it were all electric. Come on Infiniti. Go all in on electric. Gasoline is so out of fashion.

Fazal Rabbi says:

Love it ?

senorgato70 says:

Is a VC-Turbo similar to a Honda VTEC?  It sounds like its intended function is similar, if not the same in that it optimizes performance at higher RPM and maximizes efficiency at lower RPM.

senorgato70 says:

Already looks dated.  Exterior adopting the looks of the current INfiniti line, but that styling theme is trendy and years old already.  Enough with that rear-pillar kink — it's horrible and ineffective.  The interior has a BMW center console with center air vents straight from a Chrysler Pacifica minivan.  The center stack info screen is already a dated Q50 design.

דותן גבאי says:

Poor interior design, as usual…

Craig D says:

Why is it that the concept of this vehicle the upper screen and the lower screen had the same sheen but the production models they are different. That another reason why people feel it’s an air of cheapness about the interior. But I will say this is their best interior yet.

Wideolink says:

I need one in my life !

Fabio Carvalho says:

Great but it's 10 years late.
It's time for electric engines.

Aver812 says:

If this VC engine break it will take all your money to repair it

Alex Zicong Yan says:

I know that most cars copy others, but shit, this is basically a Mazda clone

Robbie Varghese says:

Wt is the last soundtrack used?

Martin Lang says:

Bravo for inventing technology before Mercedes. I think the game is changing. Now if you sedans had road surface scan AND was very comfortable and quiet. U most likely would get a sale and possible customer for life. ?

nemanja milosevic says:

The absolute Mazda clone
