This is a new world record for a production vehicle.

It beat the Rimac Never by 1.12 seconds.

No mechanical changes were made, only a new set of Michelin Cup2R tires and smoother track.

Just about a month ago, the Rimac Nevera shattered a total of 23 performance records in a single run, including the record for the quickest 0-400-0kmph time. The latter was achieved by besting the time set by the Koenigsegg Regera back in 2019. But it seems like Koenigsegg takes the Regera name a little too seriously. It means ‘to reign’ and so it does as the carmaker tested the Regera once again and bested not only its own previous time but also the latest record set by the Rimac Nevera.
