This is a RIMAC Concept One that is on display at Manhattan Motors Cars. At the time of its creation it was claimed to be the fastest accelerating all electric hyper car in the world in 2013. Today it is in the AMMO Studio to receive a paint correction similar to the Koenigsegg Jesko we prepared last year before its big show circuit. The Rimac's paint requires light sanding with P2000 grit sanding discs from Rupes because of RIDS or random isolated deep scratches that will require a deep cut than compounding and polishing alone. Clearly this isn't a disaster nor filthy detail with dead animals, mold, interior stains, smells, and so on...but it isn't ready to go back on display either. For $1.6 million, the paint must be perfect. We also measure the haze and gloss of the paint with a gloss meter after each detail step to help understand where and when a gloss meter can be helpful and where it has its limitations.
