We love doing Redline Rebuilds (almost) as much as you enjoy watching them. And when Dodge offered up the supercharged, 840-hp, Hemi V-8 out of a Challenger SRT Demon for our magical time-lapse treatment, we couldn’t say yes fast enough. Be sure to stick around until the end to watch us put that power to the ground. Still the most potent muscle car offering on the street, buyers quickly realized that sending over 700 horsepower to the only the rear wheels meant lots of traction issues. Realizing this issue, Dodge adds wider tires all around and the same body kit and fender flares from the even more ridiculous Demon. The result is still the 2018 SRT Hellcat Widebody, a muscle car with lots of tail happy shenanigans, but slightly better handling and a little more grip.
