The new TVR Griffith has landed and who better to show us around than Les Edgar, the man responsible for bringing TVR back and presenting the new car at the Goodwood Revival! Personally I’m very impressed and excited for mine to arrive, what do you think of the new Griffith?

My apologies for the difficulty with the sound in the bustling hall in which the car was released. Things become clearer as we continue but Les has a lot of knowledge on the car and there are some lovely things to hear about it. With 500 of the Launch Editions due to customers that are now touching on being entirely sold-out, it packs a 5 litre NA V8, a 6-speed manual gearbox, and rear-wheel-drive – also known as the perfect driver’s car combination.

Thanks for watching, Tim

They fucked it up… Sure it look's cool, but it doesn't stand out like it's supposed to. A TVR is supposed to look like it was designed by alien's on LSD! outlandish, other worldly, and just bonkers! It doesn't have that "special" factor that defined them in the past. I really hope they come to their senses and realize exactly what that TVR badge means. I will say though it's probably nice not to have to fix them all the time, or at least not as often.

Most Interesting.

Thanks, have been waiting for this for awhile. Perfection, Gorgeous, and FANTASTIC. Can see the TVR DNA here. I an very aware of Cosworth's Proficiency and Expertise in Performance Engines, yet am not happy with the engine being a Ford, and from a Mustang. They are very common here in the colonies, and can be beaten by Chevy's without much Problem. I would prefer a GM engine instead. It's just me. Otherwise this is FANTASTIC and GREAT TVR has Returned. I have all of the TVR's on Grand Tursmo, and I love them all. Takes so getting used to to Drive well, yet when you adjust, they are FANTASTIC. Can't wait to get one myself. Even if I have to leave the USA for it. Please inform them, I think it's a FANTASTIC TVR, GLAD they Returned . . . Thanks for showing this.

Rick West says:

What a wank review.

Luis Gonzalez says:

Does this have the flat plane crank?

Leigh Croxton says:

It looks like a typical TVR in shape/stance, but it doesn't have the aesthetics of the last TVRs which to me had crazy almost retro futuristic style. This comes across more of a car that should be great to drive, incredibly reliable etc all the things TVR really needed all those years ago, but in the process has had to forfeit the initial wow factor those cars had. I see a Tuscan every so often drive past me and it still has that timeless look to it. Other cars no matter how great they look at the time always age, the Tuscan and Sagaris just haven't aged at all in my opinion.

I hope this is a great success and gets rave reviews for how it drives and in time the reliability holds up. However I do hope that if they can bring back some of that unique style does make a return.

Being from Aus, we don't here much about AVON tyres.
A little in motorcycles, but not much to never in cars.

machoneboard says:

Maybe it doesn't work well in this video. I am/was a fan of TVR but I'm not keen on the way it looks – TVR used to be forward looking. This is looking back. Back end is too square, front end too flat, ok from the side. Interior still 'well made kitcarish'. Should be electric or hybrid, should have more organic looks as per the previous models. 90k? Sorry Trevor.

RobinHoodUKIP says:

new chimera/speed12 please

Chris Wiggins says:

for sure for sure

James Drury says:

I love the idea of this car and I hope it drives well and it's a success for TVR but the front end just looks too Japanese

Andrew Frost says:
